I’ve just heard that the clinic is all but finished. This week the painting will be completed, next week we hope the power company will come to connect the electricity, and then we will invite the Regional Medical Officer to inspect and give his final approval. Once we have that, a request goes to the Minister of Health, who is in charge of assigning the doctor and nurse, as well as the initial shipment of equipment and supplies Whew!

Here’s how the clinic looked in April 2016

The hopeful opening date is early September of this year. There is talk of a dedication ceremony and I’ll be there mid month, so we’ll see. I will definitely send photos of the competed facility on my first day in-country!
